Nalzin® FA 179 by Elementis is a corrosion inhibitor for aqueous paint systems to counteract the formation of flash-rust. It is also suitable for application as an inhibitor against the formation of in-can corrosion and temporary rust inhibitor for metal surfaces.
- It can be applied to various types of water-dilutable alkyd systems, acrylics, epoxy and dispersion paints.
- The typical use level is 0.1-0.5% calculated on the total amount of paint.
- Nalzin® FA 179 has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.
