CoatOSil™ 7001LC by Momentive Performance Materials is a silicone-polyether block copolymer. It acts as a wetting or flow and leveling agent.
- It shows high compatibility and is an environment friendly product with low cyclic siloxane content.
- Enhances surface slip and improves block resistance.
- CoatOSil™ 7001LC eliminates craters, orange peel, pin holes and fisheyes defects.
- The recommended use level should be 0.5 wt% based on total formulations.
- It is suitable for various water-based and solvent-based coatings such as industrial-, architectural-, automotive-, refinishes- and marine coatings.
