PropylMatte 31SA by Micro Powders is a finely micronized PTFE modified polypropylene wax. Provides consistent matting and gloss control with surface slip, abrasion and burnish resistance. It offers enhanced lubricity and surface slip and optimized density for maximum stability. It adds texture in low bake (Low E) powder coatings. It is designed for water-based, solvent-based and energy-curable coatings and inks. Used in industrial (including plastic, metal, masonry and leather), stains, sealers, varnishes, wood, floor, coil, interior and exterior can and container coatings, architectural wall and trim paints. It is also applicable in printing inks and OPV's (including flexo and gravure). PropylMatte 31SA conforms to (EU) 2019/1021 & Stockholm Convention (POP) and has a recommended additional level of 2.0-5.0% depending on the level of gloss reduction desired.
