LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® XD

LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® XD by Laviosa Minerals is a high performing, highly effective rheological additive for low to medium polarity solvent-borne systems. It is a highly purified bentonite clay, organically modified with a quaternary alkylammonium compound. It gives thixotropic effect, sag control, excellent levelling and prevents pigments from long-term storage settling.

• It shows good performance in aliphatic mineral spirits and aromatics.
• It is self-activating, simple and convenient to use.
• It provides superior anti-settling properties and very high dispersibility.
• It is compatible with low polarity binders like alkyds and terpenes, petroleum derivatives and styrene butadiene rubbers.
• It is used in architectural paints, industrial finishes, anti-corrosive paints, road marking paints, primers and wood stains.
• Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.8% for paints & industrial finishes, 0.5-1.0% for primers & printing inks and upto 3.0% for anti-sagging properties.
• Shelf life of LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® XD is 3 years.
