LAVIOTHIX® P0

LAVIOTHIX® P0 by [supplier} is an activated, white bentonite clay with 98% montmorillonite content. It acts as an antisettling agent and rheology modifier. It can be incorporated as powder or as an aqueous pregel at 3 - 4 %wt. Exhibits good stability, viscosity and adhesion control. Offers hydration with water, enhanced texturing and stippling effects. LAVIOTHIX® P0 shows gel formation properties at low or high shear. Used in water borne systems, emulsion paints, bituminous emulsion and latex paints. The shelf life of this grade is 12 months. The dosage level is 0.3 - 3.0% by weight.

LAVIOTHIX® P1

LAVIOTHIX® P1 by Laviosa Minerals is an activated, white bentonite clay with 98% montmorillonite content. Acts as a rheology modifier and an antisettling agent. Suitable for water borne formulations that forms non-transparent gel. It can be incorporated as powder or as an aqueous pregel at 3 - 4 %wt. Provides stability, enhanced texturing, stippling effects, viscosity and adhesion control. It shows gel formation properties at low or high shear rate. It is suitable for emulsion paints, bituminous emulsion and latex paints. The dosage level of this grade is 0.5 - 5.0% by weight. LAVIOTHIX® P1 has a shelf life of 12 months.

LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® SD

LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® SD by Laviosa Minerals is a self-activating and easily dispersible rheological additive for low to medium polarity solvent-borne systems. It is a bentonite clay, organically modified with a quaternary alkylammonium compound. It gives thixotropic effect, sag control, excellent levelling and prevents pigments from long-term storage settling. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It shows good performance in solvents like aliphatic mineral spirits and aromatic solvents. </li> <li> It is compatible with low polarity binders like alkyds, terpenes and petroleum derivatives. </li> <li>It can be incorporated by direct addition technique and pre-gel technique. </li> <li>It is used in oil based paints (either industrial or architectural), anticorrosive paints, road marking paints, primers and wood paints. </li> <li>Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.8% for paints & industrial finishes, 0.5-1.0% for primers & printing inks and upto 3.0% for anti-sagging properties. </li> <li>Shelf life of LAVIOSA ARGIMEL® SD is 3 years. </li></ul>
