ESACOTE® AC 200

ESACOTE® AC 200 by Lamberti is an APEO-free, self cross-linking, anionic waterborne acrylic emulsion. It is used as a primer on flexible substrates and as a binder for waterborne flexo- & gravure inks and clear & pigmented coatings. It forms transparent & glossy films and allows good film formation when combined with a small percentage of glycols.

• It provides good balance of flexibility & hardness development, good resistance to ammonia & water, and excellent surface receptivity to print with UV inks.
• It offers adhesion on plastic films and high compatibility to pigmented pastes.
• It exhibits good stain- & water resistance in overprint coatings on paper & cardboard.
• ESACOTE® AC 200 is recommended for sealable coating on plastic film (ex. BOPP), with an initial sealing temperature of approximately 95-105°C.
• It is used as a co-binder in waterproof coating offering low water uptake.
• It can be combined with water dispersible polyisocyanates, polyaziridines or carbodiimides crosslinkers to enhance the overall properties.
• It has a shelf life of 12 months.
