Omnirad DETX by IGM Resins is a highly effective type II photoinitiator. In conjunction with tertiary amine synergists, it is used to initiate radical polymerization of unsaturated oligomers such as acrylates, after exposure to UV light.
- It can be used in combination with mono or multi-functional monomers as reactive diluents.
- It is suitable for surface, through and LED cure.
- It is designed for UV radiation curing and pigmented systems.
- It is used paper, wood, metal, plastics, glass coatings and inks.
- The recommended addition level is 0.5-5% by weight of total formulation.
- Omnirad DETX has a shelf life of 24 months.
