Omnirad 380 by IGM Resins is a versatile photoinitiator used to initiate radical polymerization of unsaturated oligomers e.g. acrylates, after exposure to UV light.
  • It can be used in combination with mono- or multi-functional monomers as reactive diluents.
  • It is designed for UV curable coating and ink formulations based on acrylates.
  • It is suitable for through and LED cure.
  • It is applicable for clear, white, pigmented and water-based systems.
  • Due to its photosensitivity at longer wavelengths, it can be used in combination with UV absorbers, making it useful for outdoor weather resistant applications.
  • It is used as the sole initiator.
  • It is applicable for paper, wood, plastic, metal, glass, optical and clear coatings.
  • The recommended addition level of 0.1 - 1.5% by weight of formulation.
  • Omnirad 380 has a shelf life of 36 months.
