HALOX® 570 LS by ICL is a ready-to-use liquid version of organic corrosion inhibitor HALOX® 570 which requires no dilution. It is designed for use in waterborne industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces.
- It is especially effective along weld seams to prevent galvanic corrosion.
- It may be used in formulations based on waterborne acrylics, epoxy esters, 2 component epoxy, waterreducible alkyds, and water-based polyurethanes.
- It may be also applied in both waterborne primers and direct-to-metal topcoats.
- It has minimal effect on gloss reduction in direct-to-metal coatings.
- Recommended dosage level is 1-3% based on total formula weight.
- It has a shelf life of 36 months.
