RANBAR® 4915-PMA-85

RANBAR® 4915-PMA-85 by Huntsman is high solids, short oil alkyd resin which is cut to 85% non-volatile in PM acetate solvent. It has a good cure response with melamine/butylated melamine type resins and offers a fast reduction curve in aromatic and oxygenated solvents. Suitable for air dry/force dry and baking finishes. It has a fast set to touch and tack-free times. Provides a good combination of hardness & flexibility, abrasion resistance, good humidity & salt spray resistance when cross-linked. Possesses better chemical resistance than air-dried finishes. RANBAR® 4915-PMA-85 is recommended for traffic marking-, truck- & aerosol-paints and coil-, drum/metal- & pre-finished flat-board coatings.
