Dynol™ 980 by Evonik acts as a superwetting surfactant. It is free of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Provides a superior balance of equilibrium, dynamic wetting, system compatibility and low foam when compared to traditional siloxane surfactants. Used in high-quality waterborne applications like metal coatings. Primarily recommended for use in overprint varnishes, OEM/ DIY wood, industrial, and OEM coatings. It is secondarily recommended for plastic coatings and printing inks. Dynol™ 980 is recommended at a dosage of 0.1-1 %.
