PL -TPO by Esstech is diphenyl (2, 4, 6-trimethylbenzoyl) phosphine oxide. Acts as a type-I photoinitiator. It is soluble in most monomers, oligomers and prepolymers but insoluble in water. Exhibits excellent through cure and low yellowing properties. Also exhibits excellent performance in white pigmented systems and thick clear coatings. Used in flexographic-, inkjet-, screen-, lithographic- and dry offset printing inks. PL -TPO also used in coatings for graphic arts, wood, plastics and metal applications. Recommended usage level ranges from 0.5 – 4.0%.
