PL -100 by Esstech is blend of oligo [2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-[4-(1-methylvinyl) phenyl] propanone] and 2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-phenyl-1-propanone. Acts as a type-I photoinitiator. It is soluble in most monomers, oligomers and prepolymers but insoluble in water. Possesses low odor and exhibits excellent surface cure. Used in coatings for graphic arts, wood, plastics and metals. PL -100 also used for flexographic-, screen-, lithographic- and dry offset inks. Usage level ranges from 0.5 - 10%.
