Bentone® 27 by Elementis is a conventional hectorite-based organoclay for high polarity systems, polyol and epoxy. It increases viscosity and provides thixotropy effect. It prevents pigment settling during storage and improves flow and leveling. It controls sagging on vertical surfaces and penetration on porous substrates.
- It is used in wash primer, can-, coil-, industrial coatings, anti-corrosive-, automotive-, anti-fouling-, foundry mold paints, gravure-, flexographic- and printing inks.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.2-1%.
- Bentone® 27 has a shelf life of 4 years.
