Tyzor® NBZ by Dorf Ketal is Tetra n-butyl zirconate. It is a highly reactive organic alkoxy zirconate with approximately 87% active content in n-butanol. Acts as a crosslinking agent, catalyst and as an adhesion promoter. It increases surface hardness, improves adhesion promotion and scratches resistance, enhances coloring effects and iridescence, and improves heat and light reflection or corrosion resistance. It is an effective catalyst for esterification, transesterification, condensation and addition reactions. Tyzor® NBZ benefits include elimination of by-products, increased yield, easy work-up, low toxicity and low catalyst concentration. Used in glass, metals, fillers, paints and pigments.
