Tyzor® IAM by Dorf Ketal is an organometallic catalyst, organic titanate. It is a titanium-based phosphate complex that is very reactive during curing yet stable in solvent-based inks. It is compatible with polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester and with many ink additives. It enhances curing and decreases drying times and/or cure temperatures. It has little or no influence on ink color, doesn’t release acetylacetone and is effective at low concentrations. Used in flexo- and gravure inks. Tyzor® IAM is approved for use in food packaging inks.
