Supplied byDorf Ketal- Last Updated on Mar 14, 2019

n-Butyl polytitanate. It is a polymeric butyl titanate with 100% active content. Acts as a crosslinking agent, catalyst and as an adhesion promoter. It has a very high titanium dioxide content and releases lower levels of VOC’s. It increases surface hardness, promotes adhesion, enhances resistance to scratches and corrosion. It increases yield, provides easier work up at low concentration. It can be used as a Lewis acid catalyst in processes such as esterification, transesterification, condensation, addition and similar applications. Used in glass coatings, metal coating, fillers, pigments, –OH, COOH and similar functional polymers and other binders in paints.
