SYNAQUA® 4804 distributed by DKSH is a low VOC capable, short oil alkyd emulsion for use in high-performance decorative paints. It is an APEO-, ammonia-, solvent-, and plasticizer- free. It is developed for a wide variety of coatings where performance similar to solvent-based alkyds is required.
- It offers high gloss potential, excellent gloss retention and low yellowing.
- It shows quick drying time and good application characteristics.
- It provides block & scrub resistance, adhesion and washability.
- It is an outstanding resin for blending with other technologies, including styrene acrylics, acrylics and polyurethane dispersions.
- It shows very good hardness development and good stability with anti-corrosive pigments.
- It finds application in transparent and semi-transparent stains, trim paints, wall and ceiling paints, interior/exterior primers for wood and metal and direct-to-metal coatings.
