DOWSIL™ 88 Additive distributed by DKSH is a solvent-free, water repellency made from 98% active, silane/siloxane blend. It is used in polar and non-polar solvent containing acrylic formulations to improve water repellency and in solvent borne and waterborne decorative coatings.
- It shows good compatibility with acrylic resins.
- It can be diluted in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons and polar solvents.
- It is used in automotive paints, can, coil and industrial coatings and printing inks.
- Recommended dosage level is 1-5%.
- DOWSIL™ 88 Additive has a shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacture.
