DOWSIL™ 62 Additive distributed by DKSH is a water-based silicone antifoaming agent. It provides highly effective and long-lasting foam control and has a very low tendency to affect coating gloss. It is readily dispersible.
- It can be added during the grind, let down or be post-added.
- Recommended usage levels include 0.5 to 2.0 weight percent or as low as 0.05 to 0.1 weight percent, based upon total formulation.
- DOWSIL™ 62 Additive is used in architectural and decorative coatings, printing inks, can, coil and industrial coatings, and automotive paints.
- It has a shelf life of 18 months from date of production.
- It is available in APAC region (New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, Myanmar).
