Zinc Octoate. Acts as a wetting agent, dispersing agent, drier and fungicide. It is a clean liquid without suspended matter. It improves the through-drying process enabling deep-layer oxygen penetration. It inhibits fungal development. In comparison to linoleate, phthalates and naphthenates, it provides better color, odor, stability and viscosity. It shows lower price level in comparison to synthetic acids and metallic salts like those prepared with iso-acids as well as neo-acids. Enables high metal concentration with superior quality and reproducibility. Suitable for paints, enamels and oil based paint formulations. The recommended dosage is 0.10-0.20 w/w% zinc metal on resin NV.
