MAJESTIC™ 710 by Cabot is a highly dispersible carbon black (HDCB) for waterborne systems and helps improve color performance with low formulation complexity. It enables equivalent or improved jetness relative to black pigments with similar morphology. Suitable for use as mass tone or tinting in diverse applications, including decorative, industrial coatings and concrete coloring.
  • It reduces or eliminates the pre-dispersion milling process, which helps lower equipment and maintenance costs as well as enables higher production throughput.
  • It enables dispersant loading reduction of 75% or more and millbase viscosity reduction by 90% and darker tint while providing formulation flexibility and reducing non-recurring milling equipment capital expenses.
  • MAJESTIC™ 710 provides color and tinting strength equal to or better than color and tinting strength of conventional carbon black of equivalent morphology.
  • It leverages carefully tuned morphology with an innovative surface treatment to help improve processability and lower total system costs.
  • It is also applicable for colored coatings for plastics and composite surfaces, tile grout, flexography and gravure ink pigment, adhesive color and black mulch color.
