VINISOL OH

Supplied byBraskem- Last Updated on May 17, 2020

Vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and hydroxy propyl acrylate terpolymer resin. The presence of the hydroxyl group in the molecule allows crosslinking in systems (bi-component) that require excellent adhesion, flexibility, hardness and chemical resistance. It offers increased compatibility with several other types of polymers, including certain alkyd resins and some types of polyurethanes. It is used in applications that require excellent solubility and with hydroxyl functionality. Used in paints for polyurethane (PU) footwear, paper coatings, anticorrosive paints, paints with high chemical resistance, wood paints of “primer/sealer” type for furniture, paints for automotive plastic parts, printing inks for packaging, leather, paper and plastics.
