Vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and mono butyl maleate terpolymer resin. It is used in applications that require excellent solubility and functionality of the carboxyl group. Carboxylic groups in the polymer are acid and react to form a strong ionic bond with several metallic substrates. Its films show an excellent adhesion to metal parts, including aluminum, steel and galvanized iron. Used in anticorrosive paints, metal primers and printing inks for packaging and metal parts. The presence of the hydroxyl group in the molecule allows crosslinking in systems (bi-component) that require excellent adhesion, flexibility, hardness and chemical resistance. It offers increased compatibility with several other types of polymers, including certain alkyd resins and some types of polyurethanes. It is used in applications that require excellent solubility and with hydroxyl functionality. Used in paints for polyurethane (PU) footwear, paper coatings, anticorrosive paints, paints with high chemical resistance, wood paints of “primer/sealer” type for furniture, paints for automotive plastic parts, printing inks for packaging, leather, paper and plastics. Copolymer resin of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate. It is used in applications that require excellent solubility. It is compatible with other vinyl chloride-based polymers, as well as almost all the acrylates and vinyl acetate-based polymers. Used in vinyl paints, printing paints for plastic films, anticorrosive paints, decorative paints for vinyl toys, silkscreen printing inks and varnishes.
