Laromer® LR 8986 by BASF is a modified aromatic epoxy acrylate oligomer with low to medium viscosity. It offers low yellowing, good flexibility, good cure and excellent chemical- & scratch resistance.
- It can be used solely or in combination with other unsaturated acrylate oligomers to formulate electron beam or UV curable printing inks and coatings for wood, plastics & paper.
- Laromer® LR 8986 is used in flexographic, gravure, lithographic, digital and silk-screen inks.
- Recommended for overprint varnishes for commercial, publication and packaging applications.
- It is also suitable for interior/exterior general industrial metal coatings, and interior/exterior wood coatings for floor, furniture & millwork applications.
