Basonat® HB 100 by BASF is a solvent-free, aliphatic polyisocyanate based on biuret-modified hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Exhibits excellent weather and chemical resistance, non-yellowing and physical properties. It is used to crosslink most hydroxy-containing resins and hydroxy functional polyesters.
- Recommended for lightfast two-pack polyurethane coatings.
- It is suitable for use in primers for difficult substrates such as aluminum or plastics.
- Applicable for interior & exterior general industrial metal coating, plastic component coating, wood coatings for floor, furniture or millwork, and automotive OEM or refinish applications.
- Basonat® HB 100 is listed with TSCA, OSHA and EPCRA 311/312.
