ASKOFEN R 9500 by ASK Chemicals is a butylated phenol resol grade. It is a relatively high molecular weight, heat reactive resin with good compatibility to different resin systems. Provides excellent chemical resistance with exception of strong alkalis and relatively good elasticity. Compatible with epoxies and polyesters. Suitable for can, coil, drum and packaging coatings. ASKOFEN R 9500 conforms to US FDA CFR 21 § 175.300 and EU 10/2011, Annex 1.
