- It promotes oxidation-driven drying and can also function as a promoter in peroxide-initiated polymerization processes.
- It promotes the drying initiation process, reduces drying time, and reduces set-to-touch and tack-free times.
- It is generally used in combination with other metal carboxylates such as manganese, calcium, and zirconium.
- Troymax™ Cobalt 6WD is suitable for high-performance coatings, including architectural, decorative, OEM/industrial, traffic, and gel coat coatings, as well as inks.
- It has a suggested usage level between 0.01% and 0.06% cobalt level.
