Troymax™ Cobalt 6 by Arxada is an oxidation catalyst and acts as a surface or top drier. It is a cobalt carboxylate produced from a blend of synthetic acids, providing product stability and uniformity.
- It promotes oxidation-driven drying and can also function as a promoter in peroxide-initiated polymerization processes.
- It is generally used in combination with other metal carboxylates such as manganese, calcium, and zirconium.
- It is suitable for high-performance coatings, including architectural, decorative, OEM/industrial, traffic, and gel coat coatings, as well as inks.
- Troymax™ Cobalt 6 has a suggested usage level between 0.01% and 0.06% cobalt level.
