Nuosept® 497G by Arxada is a 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one. It is a non-metallic, VOC-free, non-settling, freeze-thaw stable, non-chlorinated liquid organic biocide. Used as an in-can preservative in various water-based products such as inks. May be incorporated into a product during any step of the manufacturing process. Nuosept® 497G is stable and effective over a wide pH range.
