UCECOAT® 2806 by allnex is a solvent-, tin-, BPA- & APEO-free, high-performance LED/radiation curable polyurethane dispersion for digital printing. It is used as a high-end binder for water-based overprint varnishes and inks. It is suitable for indirect food contact applications. It possesses low- viscosity and mean particle size associated with an excellent colloidal stability alone and in the presence of pigments. Its polymer composition allows high reactivity and elevated curing density as well as low migration potential.
  • It contains essential oligomers and polymers (molecular weight above 500 Da) with acrylic double bound functionality equal or superior to 6.
  • It is easily water-redispersible and tacky before cure and after water evaporation.
  • It can be applied by flexography & gravure printing techniques as well as conventional spray, screen, curtain and immersion coating methods.
  • It is used to coat paper and paperboard, corrugated sheets, and several plastic substrates.
  • UCECOAT® 2806 is suitable for inkjet- & flexographic inks, coatings for plastics & wood, and clear coating on PVC floorings.
  • It has a shelf life of 1 year.
