EBECRYL® 249 by allnex is a light color, high viscosity, aliphatic urethane methacrylate resin diluted with 25% trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TMPTMA). It provides good compatibility, long potlife, faster cycle time, lower energy consumption and low temperature curing. It may be applied by lithographic, screen, gravure, direct or reverse roll, and curtain coating methods.
  • UV/EB cured products based on EBECRYL® 249 exhibit good exterior durability, good adhesion, excellent non-yellowing, and high scuff- and abrasion resistance.
  • It is recommended for clear coatings for paper, flexible- and semi-rigid plastics.
  • It is also used in silk screen inks, wood topcoats, and solder resists as a flexibilizer.
