CYCAT® 6925 by allnex is an amine-blocked dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid catalyst supplied in isopropanol and 2-butoxyethanol. It is used to initiate and accelerate the cure of aminoplasts, such as those based on melamine, urea, and benzoguanamine which are used to crosslink 1K thermoset systems. Designed for automotive clear coats and can-, container- & general industrial coatings. It can be used in food contact applications.
- It offers excellent formulated package stability and is suitable for both solvent- & water-borne systems.
- The recommended usage levels are 0.5-2.0% as supplied on total resin solids.
- CYCAT® 6925 has a shelf-life of 1080 days.
