It is recommended for accelerating the cure response of amino cross-linking resins while providing improved formulation package stability. It is suggested for use with highly alkylated amino crosslinking resins. This product provides excellent stability in high solids and waterborne systems, and in the latter it can be added without causing binder precipitation, which can often occur due to a drop in pH. It minimizes film wrinkling. It is designed for general industrial finishes, automotive basecoats, coil- and exterior can coatings. The shelf life of CYCAT® 4045 is 720 days at 32°C.
