Afcona -2270

Afcona -2270 by Afcona Additives is a silicone-free moderate defoaming agent. It has good combination of defoaming and compatibility with most resins. It is applicable for medium viscosity applications which are applied by spray and brush. It is suitable for system ranging from low polarity to high polarity. Afcona -2270 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing. It is useful for UV curing systems especially for acrylate epoxy and polyurethane systems for wood, plastic, car refinishes. It is designed for airless spray coatings and stove paints for general industrials. The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.7% and under normal conditions, the dosage level is 0.2-0.5% based on total formulation. The shelf-life of the grade is 5 years.
