3M™ Ceramic Microspheres W-410 by 3M is a soda-lime-borosilicate glass filler. It is a non-combustible and non-porous grade. It improves opacity, viscosity, flow, levelling, and spray ability. It exhibits chemical inertness, exterior solar reflectivity, low thermal conductivity, low dielectric constant and easier washability. It possesses low alkalinity, high strength, low-density and lower film permeability.
  • It allows improved viscosity control and formulations with lower Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
  • It enhances packing and higher filler loading to help reduce costs.
  • It is suitable for architectural, anti-condensation and industrial paints & coatings like maintenance coatings for bridges, truck under-carriages & other exposed metal structures and epoxy floor coatings.
  • 3M™ Ceramic Microspheres W-410 provides uniform sheen, high-build/ low-slump, higher filler loading, reduced gloss, shrinkage, and warpage. It offers chemical-, water-, abrasion-, scrub and burnish resistance.
  • It is recommended for oil & gas outdoor storage tanks, cryogenic tanks & tankers, and gel coats for boat cabins.
  • 3M™ Ceramic Microspheres W-410 is also used in solar reflective coatings for roofs, exterior walls, mobile phones, caravans, refrigerated storage warehouses and refrigerated trucks.
