Teraspartic® 230 by Pflaumer Brothers is an amine-functional resin whose chemical structure provides a unique reactivity with polyisocyanates. Coatings based on it can be
produced with high reactivity and fast curing speeds of 1 to 2 minutes, depending on ambient temperature and with a trimer-type isocyanate. It can be used by itself or blended with other amine functional resins, such as Teraspartic® 277 or Teraspartic® 292, or blended with other hydroxy-functional acrylic resins to achieve the desired working time.
- It is designed for use in high-performance, low VOC, low-odor clear and pigmented coatings.
- It offers excellent intercoat adhesion which allows application as a topcoat on epoxies and polyurethanes.
- It is easy to apply, durable against weathering, non-yellowing, and provides excellent gloss retention.
