Luwipal® 072 by BASF is a highly methanol-etherified melamine-formaldehyde resin.
  • It promotes the natural grain and color of wood while providing good elasticity, adhesion, hardness, toughness, and weatherability.
  • It is suitable as a crosslinking component for coil and can coatings.
  • Due to its low viscosity, is also suitable for high-solids coatings.
  • Luwipal® 072 is recommended for general industrial metal coatings, plastic component coatings, and automotive OEM applications.
