EBECRYL® 8896 by allnex is a revolutionary, UV or electron beam (EB) energy curable, aliphatic urethane acrylate. Designed for applications requiring haptic properties such as soft touch or feel. Cured films are tough, flexible, and resistant to yellowing and abrasion. Compatible with variety of fillers, pigments, waxes, and polymeric beads allowing formulator maximum formulating latitude to create haptic properties ranging from a velvety/ silky feel to EBECRYL® 8896’s intrinsic rubbery feel. Recommended for haptic coating on plastics and films, flexible coatings and in-mold decoration. Formulated products may be applied by spray coating, screen, roller and curtain coating methods. The shelf life is 2 years.

EBECRYL® 8209 by allnex is a light color, low viscosity, tin-free aliphatic urethane acrylate oligomer. Provides extremely fast cure response when exposed to UV light or electron beam (EB). Provides good adhesion, scratch resistance and good lithographic properties. Applicable for lithographic, screen, gravure, direct or reverse roll, plastic coatings and curtain coating methods. It can be diluted with reactive monomers such as oligotriacrylate (OTA 480), HDDA, TPGDA and TMPTA. Cured films of EBECRYL® 8209 exhibit high hardness, abrasion and solvent resistance. The shelf life of this grade is 2 years.

EBECRYL® 8890 by allnex is a multi-functional, silicone modified aliphatic urethane acrylate. Used to prepare UV/EB energy curable coatings with low surface energy providing antistain properties particularly in matt gloss coatings. It is characterized by low surface tension, low viscosity and light color. Provides chemical resistance, oil and water repellency. Compatible with other commercial resins. Cured products based on EBECRYL® 8890 exhibit resistance to permanent oil markers & inks, especially in low gloss coatings and mechanical wearing (RCA).

EBECRYL® 8604 by allnex is an EB/ UV energy curable aliphatic urethane tetraacrylate. It is non-yellowing and offers light color, low odor, excellent reactivity combined with good hardness and toughness. It exhibits good abrasion resistance, and excellent exterior durability. It is blended with higher functional (penta or greater) oligomers, improves reactivity and weatherability while increasing the ductility with minimum impact surface hardness. It is applied by reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion & spin coating methods, and screen printing. EBECRYL® 8604 is recommended for automotive OEM or re-finish, exterior durable topcoats for wood, plastic coatings, metal & optical coatings, and screen inks.

DAOTAN® TW 6474/37WA by allnex is an aqueous dispersion of aliphatic polyurethane-acrylic hybrid. It is a hard grade, particularly suitable as a combination partner for alkyd and acrylic emulsions. It significantly improves the drying time and early hardness development. DAOTAN® TW 6474/37WA can also be used to improve the flexibility of acrylic dispersion coatings.

EBECRYL® 8812 by allnex is a light color, UV/ electron beam (EB) energy curable aliphatic urethane acrylate resin. Provides good flexibility and durability. It does not contain any intentionally added organic tin compounds, heavy metals, diluting monomers, hydroquinone (HQ) or methyl ether of hydroquinone (MEHQ). Recommended for coatings for rigid & flexible plastics, floor tile coatings, wood topcoats, screen ink & metal decorating vehicles and clear coatings. Cured films based on EBECRYL® 8812 exhibit excellent abrasion resistance, toughness, rapid cure response and resistance to yellowing. Formulated products may be applied via direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion and spin coating methods, as well as screen printing.

EBECRYL® 8809 by allnex is a light color, aliphatic urethane diacrylate. It is ultraviolet light (UV) or electron beam (EB) energy curable resin having 5% of EBECRYL® LEO 10501. It does not contain any intentionally added organic tin compounds, heavy metals, diluting monomers, hydroquinone (HQ) or methyl ether of hydroquinone (MEHQ). Cured films exhibit excellent exterior durability, toughness and yellowing resistance. Formulated products may be applied via direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion and spin coating methods, as well as screen printing. EBECRYL® 8809 is recommended for wood and plastic coatings.

EBECRYL® 8894 by allnex is an aliphatic urethane acrylate, diluted in butyl acetate. It is a flexible, UV or electron beam (EB) energy curable resin designed for applications requiring high humidity- and abrasion resistance. Recommended for coatings requiring in-mold decoration. Cured films based on EBECRYL® 8894 exhibit excellent exterior durability, good toughness and flexibility, as well as non-yellowing properties. The shelf life is 2 years.

ACURE™ 550-405 by allnex is an aliphatic urethane acrylate with a high functionality and a low equivalent weight. It enhances wet adhesion (or humidity resistance) in paints.

• It possesses a relatively high viscosity & low color and does not contain intentionally added organic tin compounds.
• It is suitable for use as an additive resin in formulations based on ACURE™ 510-100 and/or ACURE™ 510-170 malonated polyester donor resins as well as ACURE™ 550-105 or ACURE™ 550-100 acceptor resins.
• Formulated products containing ACURE™ 550-405 exhibit high cross-link density, good gloss, excellent early hardness development and good chemical- & mechanical resistance.
• It is used in industrial applications and in a wide range of professionally applied paint applications where proper personal protective equipment is used.
• It has a shelf life of 730 days.

EBECRYL® 8605 by allnex is a light color, low odor, EB/ UV energy curable, aliphatic urethane tetramethacrylate. Offers an excellent combination of toughness and hardness. As a co-resin, it can reduce coating curl and increase the ductility of higher functional resins with minimum impact on scratch and abrasion resistance. It may be applied via direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain, immersion & spin coating methods, and screen printing. Recommended for automotive OEM or re-finish, exterior durable topcoats for wood, plastic coatings, metal & optical coatings, and screen inks. UV/EB cured products containing EBECRYL® 8605 are characterized by excellent exterior durability, good reactivity, and non-yellowing properties.
