Tacolyn™ 5003

Tacolyn™ 5003 by Synthomer is a single tackifier for anionic polychloroprene latex polymers used in contact adhesive applications. It is an aqueous, APE-free, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon resin dispersion. When used as a modifier for contact adhesives, it imparts outstanding high temperature performance, excellent contactability and good moisture resistance without the use of a second reinforcing tackifier. It offers good thermal- & UV stability and promotes cohesion. It is compatible with acrylic, vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE), polyvinyl acetate, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), polychloroprene (neoprene) and natural rubber latexes. Tacolyn™ 5003 is used in waterborne packaging adhesives and sealants. The shelf life of this product is 274 days.
