Permalyn™ 6110-M by Synthomer is a tackifier based on gum rosin. Used in automotive, bookbinding, building, construction, contact adhesives, footwear, leather and hot melt adhesives. Exhibits very good color retention, high oxidation resistance, high softening point, light color and minimal odor. Permalyn™ 6110-M is also used in laminating, packaging, pressure sensitive adhesives, solventborne adhesives, tapes, labels and wax modification. Compatible with EVA copolymers, SIS block copolymers, Polychloroprene, pure phenolic resins, SBR, acrylic resins, natural gums, amorphous polypropylene, paraffins and chlorinated paraffins. Permalyn™ 5095 by Synthomer is a rosin-based tackfier. Exhibits low odor, medium softening point, very good color stability and resistance to thermal degradation. Used in asphalt modification, assembly, automotive, bookbinding, buildings and construction, contact adhesives, footwear, leather and hot-melt adhesives. Permalyn™ 5095 is also suitable for laminating, packaging, pressure sensitive adhesives, solventborne adhesives, tapes, labels and wax modification. Compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers, EVA copolymers, SIS and SBS block copolymers, low molecular weight PE, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes. Permalyn™ 5110 by Synthomer acts as a tackifier. Shows very good color stability, wide solubility and compatibility range. Compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers, EVA, EBA, SIS and SBS block copolymers, polychloroprene and pure phenolic resins. Permalyn™ 8120 is also used in SBR, acrylic resins, natural gums, amorphous polypropylene, paraffins and chlorinated paraffins. Permalyn™ 496-M by Synthomer is a tackifier. It is a pale, medium-hard, thermoplastic glycerol ester of gum rosin with low acidity. It is produced by means of a steam stripping process that yields a low-odor resin. It displays medium softening point, high tack and wide solubility range. It is compatible with resins, waxes, plasticizers, natural & synthetic rubbers, chlorinated rubber, ethylcellulose, and EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) copolymers. This grade is also compatible with low molecular weight polyethylene, SIS (styrene-isoprene-styrene), SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene) block copolymers, APAO (amorphous poly-alphaolefins), acrylic resins, certain polyamide resins, polyurethane compounds, PVP, polyvinylbutyral, nitrocellulose, drying oils and alkyd resins. Permalyn™ 496-M is used in tapes & labels, wax modification, hot melt-, pressure sensitive- and solvent-borne adhesives. Permalyn™ 3100 by Synthomer is a very good adhesion promoter. Used in automotive, bookbinding, building, construction, caulks and sealants, contact adhesives, footwear, leather, graphic arts and hot melt adhesives. Also suitable for laminating, non-wovens, packaging, pressure sensitive adhesives, solvent-borne adhesives, tapes as well as labels. Permalyn™ 3100 exhibits broad compatibility, color stability, light color and low odor.
