Resonac Chloroprene 671A by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is a high solid, anionic, aqueous dispersion of a high-gel chloroprene polymer. It offers a high wet gel strength and medium-slow crystallization rate. It has good storage stability, but pH decreases with time, and the rate depends on temperature and air exposure. The decrease is indicative of structural changes in the polymer and alterations in the colloidal properties of the latex. Resonac Chloroprene 671A is primarily used in dipped goods applications and is suitable for elastomer-based adhesives. Resonac Chloroprene AF by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is a carboxylated chloroprene copolymer. It has a slow crystallization strength and milling normally is required for optimum solution quality. It provides the rapid bond strength development and the greatest hot bond strength.<br>
