Resonac Chloroprene 115
Supplied byResonac (formerly Showa Denko)- Last Updated on Dec 1, 2025
Resonac Chloroprene 115 by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is a medium solid, carboxylated, non-ionic, aqueous dispersion of a low-gel copolymer of chloroprene and methacrylic acid stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol. It has good storage stability and broad tolerance to many materials destabilizing liquid dispersion. It offers hot bond strength and has a slow crystallization rate.
- The pH decreases with time and the rate depends on temperature and air exposure that is indicative of structural changes in the polymer and alterations in the colloidal properties of the latex.
- Resonac Chloroprene 115 is used in contact adhesives and sealants.
