Resonac Chloroprene AF

Resonac Chloroprene AF by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is a carboxylated chloroprene copolymer. It has a slow crystallization strength and milling normally is required for optimum solution quality. It provides the rapid bond strength development and the greatest hot bond strength.

Excessive time and temperature of storage can cause a change in color and an increase in viscosity.

It is primarily used in contact adhesives that require very high initial and ultimate bond strength and the ability to form bonds with minimum pressure over short open assembly periods.

The compounded adhesives offer high cohesive strength derived from reaction with metal oxides.

Resonac Chloroprene AF is used in demanding applications such as heat-formed high-pressure laminates and automotive trim attachments.

Resonac Chloroprene 671A

Resonac Chloroprene 671A by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is a high solid, anionic, aqueous dispersion of a high-gel chloroprene polymer. It offers a high wet gel strength and medium-slow crystallization rate. It has good storage stability, but pH decreases with time, and the rate depends on temperature and air exposure. The decrease is indicative of structural changes in the polymer and alterations in the colloidal properties of the latex. Resonac Chloroprene 671A is primarily used in dipped goods applications and is suitable for elastomer-based adhesives.

Resonac Chloroprene WHV100

Resonac Chloroprene WHV100 by Resonac (formerly Showa Denko) is a high viscosity chloroprene polymer without additives. It exhibits a medium crystallization rate and has excellent raw polymer stability. It affects the curing of other elastomers and contributes to the discoloration and staining of ordinary finishes.

It is recommended for highly extended stocks and for blends with other Resonac chloroprene where increased polymer viscosity is needed for processing.

Prolonged storage time and high temperatures can lead to an increase in viscosity.

It is a lower viscosity version of Resonac Chloroprene WHV.

Resonac Chloroprene WHV100 is suitable for solvent-based adhesive applications.
