Calfax® 16L-35

Calfax® 16L-35 by Pilot Chemical is an aqueous solution of sodium hexadecyl diphenyl oxide disulfonate. It offers superior solubility and stability in electrolyte solutions such as brine, bleach, caustic and inorganic acids. The long, linear side chain promotes lower critical micelle concentration (CMC), higher surface tension and lower foam stability than the other Calfax® products. Calfax® 16L-35 is an efficient biodegradable emulsifier for ABS resins and styrene-butadiene latex, among others. It is CFR 21 and 40 approved.

Calimulse® EM-22

Calimulse® EM-22 by Pilot Chemical is a 22% active sodium branched alkyl benzene sulfonate. It is an effective emulsifier which produces stable emulsions. It also has great wetting and handling properties. It is free of VOC’s and halogenated solvents. It is perfect choice for APEO-free formulations. It is compatible with styrene-butadiene, vinyl acetate, nitrile and acrylic latex. Calimulse® EM-22 is readily biodegradable. Used in paints, coatings and printing inks.

Calimulse® PRS

Calimulse® PRS by Pilot Chemical is an isopropylamine linear alkylbenzene sulfonate acid. It is a pale amber, clear, viscous liquid pumpable and pourable at ordinary temperatures with mild odor. It is a very stable, high performance emulsifier, dispersant and has spreading qualities in coatings and paint. Calimulse® PRS is biodegradable, halogenated solvent-free, CFR 21 and 40 approved. It is listed on AICS, DSL, EINECS, New Zealand Inventory and TSCA inventory.
