Preventol® D 7 by LANXESS is a preservative for solutions and dispersions of adhesives. It is a liquid formulation of isothiazolinones. It possesses low acute toxicity. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">
<li> It offers a broad spectrum of activity against bacteria including formaldehyde-resistant species, fungi, yeast and algae. </li>
<li> It is stable over the pH range of 2.5 to 9.0. </li>
<li> The shelf life of Preventol® D 7 is one year. </li></ul> Preventol® CMK 40 by LANXESS is an anionic, preservative for adhesives (including protein-based formulations) and glues. It is an aqueous alkaline preparation of 40% p-chloro-m-cresol. Preventol® CMK 40 offers broad and balanced spectrum of activity covering gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mold fungi and yeast. It is effective against putrefactive bacteria. Its stability pH range is 1-14. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.

Preventol® PHE+ by LANXESS is a preservative solution of phenoxyethanol blended with a bio-based additive. It has low viscosity and broad-spectrum activity against bacteria, molds and yeasts. Preventol® PHE+ is suitable for water-based products such as adhesives and sealants. Preventol® PHE NX+ by LANXESS is a preservative. It is low viscosity solution of phenoxyethanol and sodium pyrithione blended with a bio-based additive. Preventol® PHE NX+ is recommended for aqueous products such as adhesives and sealants. It has broad spectrum activity against bacteria, molds and yeast. Preventol® TD by LANXESS is a preservative solution of tetramethylolacetylenediurea (TMAD). It is suitable for technical aqueous applications such as adhesives and sealants. Preventol® TD is used in combination with other in-can biocides for headspace protection.
