Preventol® P 51 MV by LANXESS is VOC-free preservative based on 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propanediol (Bronopol) and isothiazolinone. It offers broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against bacteria, mold and yeasts. It is recommended for aqueous technical preparation such as synthetic adhesives and sealants. Preventol® P 51 MV is suitable for salt-sensitive products like polymer emulsions.
