Ricon® 131 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is a maleinized polybutadiene. Its varying carbon chain lengths between functional groups provide for varying sealant and hardness. In Ricon® 131, functional groups are added that can react with epoxy, amines, and hydroxyls. Has high performance and a liquid nature, which allows easy mixing. Its polybutadiene backbone improves the moisture resistance of the final product. The anhydride functional groups allow for adhesion improvement as well as compatibilization of polar and non-polar materials. It can be used in place of or in addition to anhydrides typically used in anhydride-based epoxy systems, and also in applications like low-temperature tackifier and non-extractable process aid. Ricon® 131MA5 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is a polybutadiene functionalized with maleic anhydride. Its varying carbon chain length between functional groups provides for varying sealant and hardness. In Ricon® 131MA5 functional groups are added which can react with epoxy, amines and hydroxyls. Ricon® 154 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is low molecular weight, liquid polybutadiene resin. This high vinyl homopolymer is a type II coagent affecting the state of cure, but not the rate of cure in peroxide-cure systems.<br>

Compatible with saturated and unsaturated elastomers, especially olefinic-based elastomers and thermoplastic elastomers. Contains 100 ppm of 2, 6 di-tertiary-butyl-4methylphenol as an antioxidant. Has improved crosslink density, excellent hydrophobicity, low molecular weight, processing aid, low compression set. Ricon® 152 improves processability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, elongation and ozone resistance. Used in pressure sensitive adhesives. Ricon® 153 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is low molecular weight, liquid polybutadiene resin. It is a type II coagent with high vinyl functionality affecting the state of cure, but not the rate of cure in peroxide-cure systems. Compatible with saturated and unsaturated elastomers and olefins. Contains 100 ppm of 2, 6 di-tertiary-butyl-4methylphenol as an antioxidant. Has high reactivity, electrical insulative properties, improved crosslink density, excellent hydrophobicity, low molecular weight, good compression set, hardness and modulus. It is scorch retarding and improves processability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, elongation and ozone resistance. Ricon® 100 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is low molecular weight copolymer of butadiene and styrene. It is produced to precisely and consistently control the micro-structure of the polymer (molecular weight, poly-dispersity, vinyl content, monomer ratio). Offers high tear strength, low molecular weight and electrical insulative properties. Used in pressure sensitive adhesives. Its shelf life is twelve months from date of purchase when stored in its original packaging, temperatures between 10°C and 32°C and out of direct sunlight. Ricon® 131MA17 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is polybutadiene functionalized with maleic anhydride. It is a low vinyl polymer additive. Its varying carbon chain length between functional groups provides for varying sealant and hardness. It functional groups are added which can react with epoxy, amines and hydroxyls. Has low molecular weight and liquid nature which allow easy mixing. Its polybutadiene backbone improves the moisture resistance of the final product. Ricon® 184MA6 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is a is a low molecular weight polybutadiene-styrene copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride. It is recommended for use in sealants and pressure sensitive and peroxide cure adhesives.
