Ricon® 152

Ricon® 152 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is a low molecular weight, liquid polybutadiene resin. It is type II coagent with moderately high vinyl functionality affecting the state of cure, but not the rate of cure in peroxide-cure systems. Compatible with saturated and unsaturated elastomers, especially olefinic-based elastomers and thermoplastic elastomers. Contains 100 ppm of 2, 6 di-tertiary-butyl-4methylphenol as an antioxidant. Has improved crosslink density, excellent hydrophobicity, low molecular weight, processing aid, low compression set. Ricon® 152 improves processability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, elongation and ozone resistance. Used in pressure sensitive adhesives.
