Pearlstick™ 5703 distributed by Bjørn Thorsen is a polyester-type thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). It is a soft compound with high elongation exhibiting low temperature flexibility and abrasion resistance. It can be processed by means of solution coating, extrusion and melt coating. Pearlstick™ 5703 is used in adhesives. Pearlstick™ 46-10/01 distributed by Bjørn Thorsen is a linear, elastic, aromatic thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Exhibits a very high crystallization rate and a very high thermoplasticity level. It enables the production of solvent-based adhesives with high solids content and low viscosity. The addition of a polyfunctional isocyanate improves the heat-resistance and the strength of the joints. Pearlstick™ 46-10/01 is used in wood and shoe industries.
